Amaya Edwards is a freelance photojournalist available for assignments. She is based in Oakland, CA but is willing to travel. She is also one of the latest recipients of the Fran Ortiz grant and is working on an on-going documentary photo project centering Black birth workers. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a BA in Journalism and a Minor in Race and Resistance Studies. Please contact Amaya directly for any inquiries.
